I don't find it objectionable to see those words interspersed in text trying to make a point or to emphasize. What becomes more problematic is when those words are used against other people in a personal way for expressing their opinions whether it's about a topic or lifestyle etc. When used that way, we become the other place. I don't think any of us want that.
