I'm just guessing, but I think it is here: "I don't see spacetime as a fixed fabric that exists independent of any coordinate frame."
If you make spacetime subjective, all things in it are subjective. In many ways you are denying the existence of an objective reality.
Is there anything you believe "survives" a coordinate transform i.e. exists independent of a particular coordinate frame?
