Enemies go from pushovers if you just mash attack and use the block button all day to having questionable hitboxes / startup on moves if you try to dodge like in 8 or 9 (bad muscle memory, feels designed bad on purpose to push the game towards being a blocking sim more). Perfect guarding is insultingly easy and is like a 30 frame window or something absurd. You basically can only mess up the timing by being too late.
