Well worth a read in my opinion:

Medici Money

- intersection: money, power, democracy
- banking and trade
- two currency system
- currency devaluation

It is so weird to me how much of what is written in this book and happened approx. 550years ago resembles some events today.

The question is:
Is the future gonna resemble this kind of events in a potentially hyperbitcoinized world or are they prevented by it?
