I have come to believe that the error is not death over life but process over substance.
A woman to the substance view is a particular type of thing. To the process crowd a woman is a group of behaviors.
So long as the 'appropriate' deliberative procedures have been followed, the actions of government officials are just and right (rather than in substance your fellows depriving you of liberties and asserting themselves in effect as your superior).
Government itself has no substance whatever, and is purely a process in which some people find themselves in a state of supreme rights in which others have (essentially) no rights.
