Arvo, Toots! It’s Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, so I present the parental feline, Naughty Ginger (by name and by nature.) Naughty Ginger came into the parental Household the way all cats do - the Alley Cats Trade Union (ACTU) saw a gap in membership, and sent him over. He has been terrified of dogs his entire life, and whenever the GrandDog visits, he disappears under a bed for hours. The rest of his days are spent assisting my elderly father in Gravity Patrol (holding the bed down while they sleep to make sure the bed doesn’t float away), Table Duty (Holding the Chair Down at Mealtimes and graciously accepting tidbits from Dad) and Garden Duty (Mysterious Cat Sunshine things.)
