Minecraft's worldgen is painfully slow on low-power devices. With optimization mods I'd be perfectly fine running a small server, but the world needs to be pregenerated with something like chunky.

Also I do think the elytra (which doesn't help here) is very overpowered, and it discourages building infrastructure, which makes the game much less interesting. I can't live without it, but it needs to have a drawback.
