just watched Vesper (2022) and thought it deserved way more attention than it got. maybe because it looks like a YA film it was ignored but it has a unique world design and unique kind of plot structure. maybe a kind of 'scifi fantasy realism' or something, without getting bogged down in hard scifi tropes?
