A recent image of an ancient oak tree with glowing lime green leaves in a local ancient woodland and former royal hunting grounds.

Not quite sure how big this tree is, but I'd estimate a girth in the 6-7 metre range.

Lots of hollowing out and, out-of-frame, dead branches amongst the canopy - both telltale signs of its ancient status.
