Here’s yesterday’s Chick Zen, part 1/2. I’ve seen roosters and momma hens break apart food before, but I’ve only seen them do it to big bugs or chunks of human food. In this video, Ninja’s smashing individual sunflower seeds! It’s hard to tell visually, but the sound gave it away. She was bashing seeds, not just pecking good bits.
