I do both, I find being myself a bit more freeing. Being anon is like removing norms in a way. We do or say things we may not do irl, less fear or social pressure. But at that same time, those things are there to keep us from being assholes. Besides that my digital life is very separate from my real life anyway. I know no human being who is into the digital things that interest me in person. Maybe once or twice I’ve run into another human that wanted to talk tech.
