This image popped up on LinkedIn & I thought it was a great summation of modern careers, and would be an excellent thing to show young people embarking on the world of work as a way of helping them shape the expectations about career planning.

Its not so much the detail of th lower path, but the non-linear aspect of it' not everyone is going to be an entrepreneur, but increasingly people are having (forced?) career breaks.
