do any of y'all have resources on judging the fit of a binder?

I'm thinking about the kinds of bra fit guides that are out there--"if the cups pucker it means x, if the straps slide down it means y."

I can't tell if a couple of issues I'm having are just expected because it's not tailored to my body and i have some unexpected proportions, or if I should be sizing differently next time 😩
