Listening to a podcast about self-driving cars. From a psychological perspective, would people accept them if they resulted in an overall 50% less death due to driver error, but the remaining accidents caused by them were seen as “dumb” from a human perspective (like driving into a lake randomly). #cars #selfdriving My suspicion is people prefer a higher death rate that involved human error. (Or we could just do the smart things and invest in #publictransport )
