India with 3 times the population size of the US has about 1/8th of the GDP. The so-called "management class", the highest on their cast system really worth shit, because they come out of a talent pool 3 times the size of the US and produce only 1/8th of the wealth.
I have known this since the late 90s, but it was a very unpopular opinion since then and still.
