No doubt people come away from this feeling they've waged and won a righteous war. But the only possible outcome is that Elly Griffiths will never again take on the trouble of writing anything that involved indigenous people; and hundreds of other writers who see this will, consciously, or unconsciously, make the same choice. So, a catastrophic decline in representation.
