SilentSid1992 (npub1e0e…vel7) Media and such is a symptom, how can you market to a group that doesn't exist in the social conscience? The Teenager atleast exists in places like Japan and as such they market towards them with books, Manga, and TV, it's not like this media doesn't exist in the west with books, but teenagers don't read books anymore it watch TV they're on YouTube. Only issue is that the Disaffected Gen Z Teenager isn't gonna make Grunge music and rebel like their parents did, so they conform, they conform in the ways the differentiate themselves. Some go to religion (based) to rebel against an anti-theist society, and some good to pronouns to rebel against what they feel like is a repressed society. They all conform just the same
