- Jury is out on the Tarrifs seems like a tax raise to offset a 15% income tax. No tax on Tips though. Congress will have to weigh in because power of the purse. At least I hope. It would suck to have the next president have enough power to just spend. Small Government with checks and Balances serves the left also. Just think if a president couldn't just raise and lower taxes on individual industries at will. That would be crazy.
- Nominated cabinet level people that were all targets of the deep state. Karma, I deeply disagree with, because it implies that you deserve your fate in the lower cast and encourages the powerful to defecate on you. But just this once it feels good to remind the experts in the bureaucracy that people don't like to be law fared and defecated upon. I kinda fear the pendulum swing though. Can I remind everyone of the 10th amendment.
- all this shall come to pass. This is a temporary. Congress has the power of the purse. And those without term limits have long memories and will find their kickback giving friends and NGO's again. You may be upset that the next 2 years may be hard but you have an 8 month salary which is more than my retail job would give. And when the government quits creating money , ROTFLOL, then the banks will step in and the Fed is always cautious about sucking up and destroying money. Except interest rates on treasuries is like taxes for the government that destroys money circulation. Except that money moves into the Fed because the banks use treasuries to store money and the fed could always go Paul Volker on it. So complicated. But the policy seems to be 2 percent inflation, excluding food and energy. But energy is where all our money's value comes from. Seems like a flaw. But don't worry , global climate experts payed by NGO's and Governments seem hellbent of striping us poors of abundent energy. and we are now back full circle to Doge and the firing of employees that didn't keep track properly of Government money. Gee I hope the EPA used slush funds inappropriately. Maybe with congressional help we can get a compromise on productive mines for motors and power plants so that we can improve our lives and afford insulin again.
