i think this is generally correct... there is a similar thing at play when you are in a bad relationship and you "make a decision" in conversation and then feel better and don't do it

but at the same time, sometimes speaking things out loud shows you if and how they are wrong

when it comes to your work though, writing stuff down is good but better to put it into the kanban and docs than on social media
