I don't doubt that you can differentiate right from wrong, I was asking how you knew that "doing what one knows to be right" is your *duty*. I'm not advocating against it either, btw.
You are making a case for virtue, morality, right vs wrong. I'm asking what makes it your duty to act these ways if there is no authority outside yourself to hold you accountable? Doing so seems more like a preference in that case rather than a duty.
