I'm not sure where everyone will end up, but for me this platform with its distributed system and lack of advertising or algorithms makes it my choice for the long haul. There are folks I followed that I miss but I never really had a "network", so easier for me to turn my back on the places they have gone. I think it's unlikely that everyone ends up together again, but if they do my hunch is it'll be #mastodon.
