The White House released the budget for fiscal year 2025, including a request for $25.4 for NASA. This number is the same as it received in fiscal year 2023, but almost two billion less than it requested for 2025. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said the budget constraints are coming from a debt ceiling agreement that limits non-defense spending. Because it has received less than requested, NASA will need to cut costs from various missions.
