Really feeling that feeling today where, in order to be of any use to anyone, I need to find a way to wrap myself in a cocoon of privilege and just ignore all the horrible shit in the world that isn't personally, directly affecting me right at this moment, so that I can focus on getting a few small things done. It feels like the alternative is "really caring" about the people affected by these things but the actual alternative is sitting around being sad and stressed out of my mind.
