And nowadays I volunteer for Family Promise, a nonprofit that partners with churches and other organizations to provide shelter for unhoused families with children, and the Mennonite church is one of our host sites and punches above their weight in doing good.
I'm not a Mennonite, but I respect the heck out of the ones I've met.
