But that doesn't mean we should stop trying. We might not be able to change the world, but if we can change our immediate surroundings, plant a few thought seeds here and there, that's also something.

I've been a disability advocate for years. Even been on local telly a few times to raise awareness about everyday obstacles. It's an uphill battle, because "normies" rarely understand that it's not just about being dissatisfied with something, we're trying to shape a more inclusive future.

Maybe some day, when they grow old and need a wheelchair themselves, they'll understand what we were trying to do.
