The #fediverse is incredibly lame and about as bad as centralized social media, or worse. Despite being self-hosted you can still be completely banned from a community just because you say something a mod/admin disagrees with and without appeal. That's it, you're done. Want to engage again? Gotta spin up a whole new server and federate again. What a joke. No reasonable discourse any more, just circle jerks of brainrot.
