Today is observed as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, and I'm grateful to everyone who spoke against the 'isolated madman' narrative and recognised that it was an act of misogynistic terrorism, confirmed by the reports of the survivors and in his writings. He went to the Ecole Polytechnique and targeted those women *because* they were engineering students.
