She rose to greatness from one of ... I think we counted eight cats come pouring out of the storm drain... on an unusually bitterly cold night in early November some six years ago, I believe. As the cats scattered, my friend and I who were out checking on something car related noted one that lingered and eventually -I shit you not- chased her own tail across the street straight to Joey's feet.
