A question of mentality and culture? In Germany, I notice the trend and call for more authorities and central power or control, unfortunately. For me, this is a sign that the majority do not see the added value of decentralization and the like, which extends down to social media, so that everyone wants to have everyone kicked off the platform. Twitter Germany is a disgrace by now. No clue how it looks in other regions of the world.
