This morning I took the subway all the way to the other end of Manhattan and then the PATH train to New Jersey and then walked 15 minutes to a very old, not well kept cemetery so that I could add a Painted Bunting to my lifer list. I was lucky in that the bird was at the feeder when I got there. Soon after it disappeared when all the birds were spooked by something. I hung around for a half an hour, but it didn't make another appearance.
