3/ [My answer cont.] If MIT Press demands payment for this, with the effect that companies don't train on my publications, I'd be very sorry. I should add that both my MIT Press books are open access under CC-BY licenses. AI companies should take that seriously. If they train on my publications, and give answers based on my research, they should also cite and link to the original sources, at least when asked. Today, some AI tools do this any many do not.
