This is a common problem with BEVs that have their charging port in locations that aren't fully compatible with charger cable lengths.
Tesla charger cables are shorter than most CCS stations. The Polestar has the port on the back driver side, same as Teslas, but Rivian, Kia and Ford have them on the front driver side.
I've had to park in an awkward angle to get a CCS cable to reach when he station is in the middle of the parking spot.
