My mom has severe arthritis, to the point where she eventually couldn't stand up. Her doctors wouldn't give her meds, and told me to have her admitted to the hospital. We had to call an ambulance, they carried her down the 1 flight in a blanket, ER, ambulance transfer to a partner hospital, 24 hours later, disorientated and tired, she was admitted to a rehab facility. They gave her PT, pain meds, and then exposed her to Covid.
