Two contrasting corners on Waterloo Street in Glasgow, one on either side of its junction with Blythswood Street. The northeastern corner retains its typically Glaswegian sandstone buildings, while the traditional buildings to the west were cleared in the 1960s as part of the Anderston Comprehensive Development Area. They have now been replaced by rather generic and non-descript modern buildings which could be anywhere in the world.
