I've been using #VIM and now #Neovim for almost 20 years and I'm still regularly learning new things.
I've been using `gf` to open a file under the cursor.
Turns out you can do <C-w>f to do the same, but the file is opened in a new pane.
Totally logical because <C-w> is the key for creating and manipulating panes.
