Was texted this morning from my friend Liz's husband. He told me she lost her battle with cancer and passed on Monday. I'd known Liz since kindergarten and we were close, trusted friends all throughout our lives.She met her husband, a D.C lawyer, in the district where she was living and working.They had 3 sons and she had a beautiful life. This is 7th woman friend or relative taken by cancer within the last year.I wept hard and keened for over an hour. Fuck cancer goddammit. I am so sad. 💔
