I think Americans are basically totally unprepared for Green Scare level repression to return under the second Trump administration. It's pretty conceivable to me that we could see orgs like Planned Parenthood get hit with terrorism charges and folks who organize against genocide getting RICO'd, down to the level of people getting charged for social media posts. The rubric already exists and it was very successful at repressing animal liberation and environmental groups in the 90s, and the Trump administration will be handed new tools with whcih to carry it out through the treasury
