You're not going to believe this, but after 70 odd yrs of living with cats, I've taught one to do something on command! 😳
Gus (pictured) can be a right pest when he wants my attention, patting my face, licking me, nosing me with his damp nose and tickling whiskers. I took a lesson from Posie (#2 cat) who bats him away with her paw and I say "Just sit down Gus".
Miraculously, he learned to do it! Now all I have to say is "Just sit down" and he does!
Surely this is a first in the annals of human-cat relationships!
