Good morning. We're under an excessive heat warning, which apparently is the most serious health alert. (Folks in the south and southwest probably know all this.) I don't remember having one before, just heat advisories.

Aside from a possible errand or 2, I'll be inside. There are plenty of things to keep me occupied. Most of all, I'm grateful the worst will pass in a few days. For so many, it will not.
