The recruiting crisis in 5% lack of patriotism and 95% lack of decent NCO leadership coupled with the ability to get real information about that shitty leadership in real time. This recruiting crisis is basically the military's own fucking fault.
Solutions:
>completely revamp NCOES to account for new demographics and include things like emotional intelligence
>start instituting compensatory time for SMs and have it reflect in their LES
>when senior officers get in trouble for fucking their suboordinates, they get kicked out with zero retirement
>when senior NCOs get in trouble for the same, they also get kicked out with no retirement
>bring back the Specialist 5-7 ranks for the Army and apply that across the other services
>You must have an associates degree to make E-6, with at least 20 credits in management classes
>abolish the grade of E-9
>fix the fucking barracks
