Once you have your #kefir system for plants set up. Separate some grains to a new container and add some spirulina and kelp to start making super labs!

I learnt this from Steve Raisner who is using this for large #aquaponic #cannabis systems. As he is doing things on a far larger scale than me I found his quantities way too high so all I did is approximate his ratios and scale it down and it still worked great!

The growth I had after application was pretty incredible too.

If you make #kefir you already have a system set up for creating lactic acid bacteria (labs) 🦠 and yeasts to innoculate your plants with.

These bacteria are great for lush green leafy growth and I haven't lost any seedlings to 'damping off' since doing this. Damping off is just a fungal or bacteria attack and the 'good guys' in kefir protect your seedlings from dying.

It's probably best to strain the clear labs off when the kefir separates from the curd. However if you are lazy like me just add a little of the mixed stuff when you water.
