Listening to this BBC discussion of #politics and #racism in France, I’m struck yet again by just how much the #UnitedStates and #France have in common. (I lived there for a while.)
I heard, for example, almost identical “just one officer” and “not all police” and “it’s individuals not the system” defenses.
Remarkable, really.
