They are applying the same strategy other companies like Netflix and Google did, they want their products to be massively adopted and as soon as they achieve that they will try to profit it in some way and sadly putting ads is a way to profit.
I don't trust in those big techs and I strongly believe they are not developing the AI for the sake of humanity so I just want them to disappear if possible. I don't know if the AI hype is a bubble but if it is I just want it to burst as soon as possible.
