#AI is the way of the future. I have no doubt of this.
#LessGovernment is always to be desired. Of this I also have no doubt.

AI driven video generation of #DeepFake content is a real concern to me. The solution is not more regulation. Criminals (including State actors) would find a way around any laws that were passed anyway.

So that leaves the question:
How do we set up a system to vet video content to prove authenticity?

Some kind of unalterable digital stamp tied to the #blockchain?
Some kind of reputation score for the content creator/poster? (this could be easily bribed/coerced into falsifying)

I don't know what to believe is #authentic anymore. Maybe this has been true for a while now and it is just becoming more obvious. This is a discussion that needs an answer. Without verifiably authentic reporting we are at the mercy of those with the skills and equipment to falsify the "News"
