It seems like some Mastodon admins/users want you to put CW on almost everything you might want to say. This almost seems to contradict the very notion of public speech. CW for anything political? Why?

Whilst accepting that each place may make its own rules, I do not think we should make open public speech anathema. Entering a public space means accepting people may share their views, even ones you would not necessarily seek out. And that is a part of a mature and educated adulthood
