I'm pretty much an #ops n00b, so maybe somebody can give me pointers: I'd like to collect "statistics" on certain things, from various sources. These are just (time, number) pairs with a name (say "fluid flow rate" or "number of jobs running"). What infra do I set up (...with #nixos)? I suppose timescale/influx for storing the data? And for ingesting it from my applications and services? Should be easy to implement, like a small HTTP request to post a number.
