This water pipit, Anthus spinoletta, didn't perceive me as a threat, it felt confident to get closer and check me out. Animals sense our intentions.

I am able to get that type of images, a close-up, because I am calm and quiet. I move slowly, I don't hide, I wait and I understand them. I don't call wildlife and I never feed them, not even birds. I am patient.
