the real sad thing about this LLM podcast-maker tech is not that the LLM sounds like quote-unquote real podcasters—it's that real podcasters sound so much like the LLM; you suddenly realize that, like, 90% of the podcast ecosystem is occupied by people who have been trying to sound like soulless husks all along; and—judging by listener stats or whatever—people eat it up en masse, which is the saddest part.
