Cory Doctorow (npub1yxz…5qvv) I work in the auto industry. All the old-guard are "learning" from Tesla. I really want to do something about it, but I feel like my hands are tied by capitalism. Even when engineers present traditional market reasons why designs are actually poor and Tesla customer satisfaction is like Porsche satisfaction, owners already decided they will love everything about it before they bought it, and even poor performance won't change their mind, management continues to act like copying Tesla is the gold solution they've been looking for.
