Someone I vaguely knew about 6 years ago reached out to me recently. She's now a trans woman (which isn't too surprising given last I knew of her she was in the military trying to be hyper-masculine and definitely-not-gay etc), but like. It's the type of trans woman where you can tell they were raised by a really conservative family and they don't interact with actual trans people much. I'd like to preface this by saying that 90% of our interactions in the past were gross and uncomfortable for me.

So, she has this OC (which btw is extremely porny but I'm not getting into that) who she says is also trans, and uh. She looks like an offensive stereotype. Thickest jawline I've ever seen, broad frame, bushy unkempt eyebrows, fetishized to hell and back. I've seen this OC in art with other girls, and she is the only one who gets this treatment. And I'm not saying these features can't be things trans women have. But all of them, hyper-exaggerated, in tandem, very much feels intentional.

I'm not even friends with this girl, so I don't know why she's constantly showing me her weird stereotype porn OC, and I don't care nearly enough to have a chat about internalized transphobia with her. I just wish she'd go bother literally anyone else because it's so beyond uncomfortable to even look at the art she shows me.

There's no real point to this rant, I just wanted to post it because I feel like I'm going insane over this and I needed to vent it somewhere.
